Bernie's World started out as a lark.

I was between jobs, and needed somewhere I could go to talk about it. Since you can't really talk to your wife about how she's making you crazy, I came to tell you.

Now I have a new job, but I fell in love with the medium. The show has evolved from 10 minutes every 2 weeks to 30 minutes at least weekly. Not only that, but I've started 2 new podcasts as well. Check them out at worldofbernie.com

In Bernie's World , we (OK, there is no 'we', it's just me in the basement talking to myself) talk about a wide range of topics. On some weeks, I may be ranting about Congress and their attempt to choke-hold the internet. Later I might get into what's going on with the kids at school. Other shows might focus on my newest technology struggles. Most of the stories you could relate to, especially if you are a 30-50 year old memeber of the workforce. I pick a wide variety of podsafe-music from The Podsafe Music Network at music.podshow.com. It goes to my tastes, which range from quiet acoustic tunes to hard rocking metal. The language in the songs is (almost exclusively) family safe, and you won't hear any hip-hop. Well, I did play Wylde Bunches "Stomp the Bleachers", but that tune was way to cool to skip.


Podcast for Educators was designed as a place I could create content for my teachers to learn how to podcast. They work in an all Windows environment, and it's just not as easy as it is on the Mac. There's no music here, but you will find information focused directly on teachers and getting them online with podcasts for themselves and their students.


Digital Father just started, and it's an outgrowth of my daddy blog and a visit to a conference for fathers I attended. I put up one file because I wanted to put it out in audio form, but I'm sure it will grow into something more. Why not? I'll be in the basement all week long now.
